Daniels Energy effective Monday 3/16/2020 will be following the “social distancing” policy and practices set forth by The State of Connecticut, The CDC and the WHO to prevent the possible spread of the Corona Virus.
For the time being, Oil and Propane deliveries and Service Visits are proceeding as normal. We have instructed our Delivery Drivers and our Service Technicians to practice limited interaction with our customers in their homes and to practice the “six foot distance” rule for conversation if needed. We ask that you do the same. We are conducting normal business and staff members who can work remotely are doing so. We have taken measures within our offices and facilities to limit interaction between staff and we are following all hand washing, sanitizing and cleaning of all workspaces as directed. You may experience longer wait times if you are calling our office by telephone. We appreciate your patience. Our after hours emergency phone service will not be affected at this time. Please do not call our after hours unless it is an “absolute emergency”.
What you can do to assist us and how this may affect our customers or business interactions with us:
Our business office doors in Portland and Essex will be locked and we will not allow any visits from customers and vendors until further notice. If you absolutely feel you need to conduct business with us in person, please call our office prior to traveling to our office. You will not be allowed to enter if you show up unannounced.
Please use your Online Account Services whenever possible to make payments and request deliveries or service. If you have not established your Online Account Access, we request you to do so. Visit our website and click on the “My Account “ Icon. If you need assistance to set up your online account, you may call our office.
Please try to delay any “non-urgent” requests or questions by phone call if you are unable to use the Online Account Services. This will allow our staff to handle phones calls quickly avoiding long wait times.
