STANDARD SERVICE PLAN

Terms & Conditions

A. Holders of the Standard Home Comfort Plan are required to be on Automatic Fuel Delivery with Daniels Energy and take 100% of their fuel requirements from Daniels Energy to be eligible for this Plan. This Plan includes one Annual Maintenance Tune up per year. Holders of this Plan are responsible to schedule their Annual Maintenance Tune Up each year during normal working hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

B. Service response under this Plan is available 24/7. Coverage for parts is limited to the listed parts only. Any part or service not listed is not covered by this Plan, and will be invoiced at our standard list pricing less a 15% discount. This plan does not include calls for after hours service or labor and customer will be billed at standard posted rates less a 15% discount.

C. Daniels Energy reserves the right to inspect and approve equipment before extending coverage. Any pre-existing conditions are not covered by the Plan. Any work performed prior to approval of the Plan cannot be credited.

D. Daniels Energy shall not be responsible for any service or repair resulting from conditions beyond its control (such as strikes, war, flood, hurricane, power failure, carelessness, or negligence on the part of the customer, inability to secure technicians or parts, acts of God or any other cause outside of its control). Daniels Energy shall not be responsible for repair or replacement of obsolete or unavailable parts or equipment no longer manufactured. Replacement of equipment because of unavailability of parts is the customer’s responsibility.

E. Customer is responsible to make sure switches are “turned on”, thermostat set below room temperature, has working batteries, and circuit breakers are “turned on” before calling for service.

F. This Plan runs for one year from date of purchase. Plan must be paid in full prior to services being performed. This Plan will auto renew upon expiration. Customer will be notified and receive an invoice upon renewal. Customer is responsible to cancel any renewal in writing
(certified letter, email, or fax) within 30 days of renewal if they wish not to continue with the Plan. These plans are non-refundable. These plans will have no refund value if the customer fails to cancel the Plan per the terms above. Daniels Energy has the right to cancel this Plan if payment is not received after 30 days from renewal or if the customer fails to have Daniels Energy supply all the customers heating fuel, discontinues doing business with the company or if an one other than Daniels Energy renders service to the burner and equipment or if payments for any obligations are past due.

G. Daniels Energy shall have the right to cancel the Plan without any liability when issued in error. This Plan is subject to change without notice.

H. Covered parts and service under this plan include:

  • System Safety Inspection (once per year)
  • Vacuum cleaning and inspection of heat exchanger, combustion chamber, and exhaust system. (once per year)
  • Oil nozzle, Oil Strainer, Oil Filter. (once per year) • Air Filter inspection and change (standard size only, additional charge applies for other than standard air filters) (once per year)
  • Motor Lubrication (once per year) • Ignition and control calibration (once per year)
  • Combustion efficiency analysis which includes: draft analysis, flue gas analysis, stack temp/heat loss analysis, and efficiency report. (once per year)
