Great Emergency Response and Triage

When I had an emergency over the weekend, A newly installed unit was not working due to and an electrical problem  I got a call from Bob Daniels. He assured me that all my concerns would be taken care of and he was very understanding. It was a hot day and our inside temperature was climbing. Bob sent Bill his HVAC TECH to the house and after a minor adjustment the system went on line… I then spoke with the utilities electrician who will complete the job. “We just started using you for our oil and maintenance. On Tuesday  we had service on our oil fill spout for the whistle replacement. Dave, our technician, as wonderfully polite. He must have gone up and down our stairs, in and out the front door 6 times or more. Each time he took his shoes off as not to make a mess in our home. He was very thorough and explained everything to me.

We owned our own business for over ten years back in Michigan and know the importance of knowing how your workers are representing you and your company. Too often you only hear complaints. We thought it would be nice to hear a compliment. Thank you again”.

Thanks for the delivery
before a big snowstorm

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for anything you did to get our oil delivery just before the the big snowstorm on Thursday. We could drive out on Friday in the snow knowing that we have enough fuel to keep the house warm until spring. We are especially grateful for the delivery with today’s snow and ice that the Northeast is dealing with.

Heating Service on a Frigid Day

“I just wanted you to know that, unfortunately, I had to make a no heat service call early this morning. Your employees handled everything beautifully on one of the coldest, and I’m sure busiest, days this season. Josh, the on-call tech, called me promptly after I spoke with the answering service and suggested I call the office at 8 am. When I called the office the woman who handles your service dispatching was very pleasant and helpful. Joe the tech, and his side kick, were very personable and professional when they came to the house. They replaced the ignition switch and I’m good to go.”

Top Notch Installation

I recently had two mitsubishi double split AC/heat units installed by Daniels. A 10 yr low finance rate was offered and paid through my Eversource bill. This was the main reason in moving forward with Daniels. CT for Change, the finance company, was quick and easy in their approval process. The Daniels staff, from Sales Rep. Keith Tyler to the installation crew… I can’t say enough on how good our installer was in running and hiding the lines on the interior and exterior. (TOP NOTCH) I’m very happy and highly recommend Daniels Energy.

Great AC Installation

Just a word or two to enthusiastically endorse the job that your crew from Daniels did in the installation of the upstairs zone air conditioning system.

They were on time, considerate, mindful of the dogs, thorough and methodical as they planned and executed the installation outside and up in the attic. They thought their way through some tricky negotiations in the attic and outside at the compressor. They trimmed trees, reinforced the stairs in the attic, and cleaned up completely when the job was done.

More to the point, they had a rapport among themselves that displayed obviously good morale in the Daniels organization, a testament to its management.

Great Customer Service

I have been a satisfied customer for 28 years, I wanted to let you know that I have been working with your customer service people for last two days and it was a pleasure. When I sent my first communication it was a note not to renew my service contract and to stop my automatic delivery. After several e-mails between us, all of the benefits of keeping my service contract were explained. Also I saw that I got a discount discount on my oil if I stayed with automatic delivery.
I just wanted to let you know that you should be proud of your staff. At this point I feel totally satisfied with my decision to stay with Daniels for my heating needs because of the assistance and information I was provided.

Fussy Daniels Propane Fan

I’m fussy. But I’ve been a propane customer of Daniels for a few years and they’ve lived up to my high expectations. I don’t even have to think about anything – it’s all taken care of. Unrelated to my propane service, I recently had a problem with the pressure valve on my home’s water heater. I noticed on Sunday that there was water leaking from it, and water all over the basement floor. On Monday I called a plumber a friend had recommended, and left a message, but he did not call back. On Tuesday I left a message with another plumber, but he did not call back either. On Wednesday I called the first plumber back again and left a second message saying I’d been without hot water since Sunday and please could someone come? To this day I haven’t heard back from either of them. On Thursday, a friend told me to see if Daniels could do that type of repair. A live person answered the phone, reprimanded me nicely for not having called them immediately because she couldn’t imagine my being without hot water all week, and she had someone out there that very morning. The repairman called when he was on his way to my house so that I could stay at work until then, and then I met him at the house. He estimated the job first, and I agreed to the price which I thought was very fair, and he fixed it immediately and was on his way in less than an hour. Easy-peasy! No more wasting my time with other servicemen who don’t have the courtesy to return a distress service call.

Natural Gas Installation was Painless

Our new gas boiler and separate water heater installation was completed yesterday, along with gas lines to our NG Fireplace log set and fixed generator.

I hope you will share this with the Daniels team; from Lori and Brian in Sales, to installers Joe, Matt, Jim and Josh. They made our transition to Natural Gas painless and did a beautiful job. I am a carpenter by trade and appreciate quality work. Lori guided me through the 0% financing process that we were able to achieve. Impending Blizzard not a Problem

Even an impending blizzard on Monday did not deter your guys from completing the job and completing it well. Your team of professionals came out to assess the situation right away. They arrived that morning, did an incredible amount of outside and inside work, and did not leave until the entire oil tank and piping system was up and working well.

Your office staff, on what had to be a very trying morning, was courteous and understanding. There was not one Daniels Oil employee who did not rise to the occasion and take care of what needed to be done in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
